This week my Teaser comes from Taming her wolf by Eve Langais. I always seem to choose books by Eve Langlais....Why??? Because all her books are awesome!

“Again with that cocky confidence. I assure you, my pet, that despite what you think or desire, you will not leave this house unless it is by my permission.” 

“Or your death,” he added, a wicked grin curving his lips.

 “You can try, but that brings me to rule number one. Attempts to kill me will result in punishment, of course.” 

“Beat me all you want. I’ll still try.” 

“Beat? Goodness, no. There are other ways to punish. More effective ways. Rule number two, hurt my staff and you will be punished.” 

“Why would I hurt them when I can use them to help me escape?”

 She laughed. “Oh, Gareth. You are such a refreshing delight. But just so you know, my staff are utterly devoted to me. Feel free to try, though. Just don’t hurt or molest them in any way as they are under my protection and I would not look kindly upon it.”

“Yadda, yadda. Any other rules I can break, princess? Like no attempts to escape? No snacking on your friends?” 

“You can try to escape. I almost hope you succeed. I do so enjoy a good chase and it’s been a while since I’ve had some sport.”

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that spolights upcoming releases that we are eagarly anticipating. This week I cant wait to finally read Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I just love The Covenant series!

There is need. And then there is Fate...

Review: Red Fox by Karina Halle

In this sequel to Darkhouse...Perry and Dex's show isnt the huge hit Dex sold her on but they still got the go-ahead from the big boss to continue with the show. Now the partners are off to Red Fox, New Mexico, where there's rumored to be a haunting there as well. The Lancasters are an older Navajo couple who has turned their backs on their native religon and become Christians...wierd, i know! They believe there's an intity in their home, terroizing their farm and has invited Dex and Perry to film it and get to the buttom of the problem. As they investigate further...they realize that they're in way over their heads and there are no ghosts haunting the couple. As Perry and Dex deal with other their most dangerous supernatural encounter yet can they make it out alive and solve the mystery of an old Navajo myth plaguing the Lancasters??

This was the best of the series so far! I wish I could give 6 stars....well on my blog I will..so there!!LOL! Dex is as sexy and crazy as ever. And Perry...well she just the Perry Iv learned to love! As they delve into this crazy world of Navajo curses and skinwalkers, Dex and Perry start to become a lot closer. Also, since they're staying with the old Navajo-turned Christian couple....they have to pretend they are married. Yep...Married! Not such as hardship for Perry since she has this humongo crush on Dex! As the story developes, you get to learn more about Dex...why he is the way he is and also how the dynamic duo are so made for each other. They're defninitely cut from the same cloth those two! That being said all the more reason for me to fall in love with this series! So many questions answered yet so many arise as well....will Dex dump the Wine Babes whore and give Perry the goods? And will Perry "man-up" and put the moves on Dex?? What the feck is the creepy clown lady and the biggest question of all....are they both just off their rocker? After reading this...Im more convinced of a few things, the shit that went down in Red Fox was real, Dex is my dream guy and Iv totally got a girl crush on Perry...anyone who loves Chino is awesome in my book!

Review: Darkhouse by Karina Halle

Perry Palamino is a 22-year-old slacker. Always wonder what the hell she wants to do with her life. With a degree under her belt and a thank-less job as a receptionist she's just not happy! Perry's always had the feeling that she was meant for something but not quite sure what that is. She has these terrifying dreams about creepy man and is being stalked by some crazy clown lady. On a weekend away at her uncle's she stumbles across this lighthouse and feels compelled to go in there. The lighthouse is scary as hell and is well known to be haunted. While in her trek through the lightghouse she has a scary encounter with some ghosts and runs into Dex Forray. Some unexplainable things go on in this lighthouse and she has some great stuff on film. So she blogs about it....and posts the video's on YouTube. She gets quite the fan-base in blogverse and things start to fall in place for her. Then she gets a call from the egnimatic Dex Forray and he offers her an oportunity to be host on a internet show with him to go with the story she wrote about her encounter at the lighthouse.
So off they go....Dex and Perry, back to the ominous lighthouse or "Darkhouse".

This was an awesome, scary, dark and gritty tale that I just got sucked into. Iv never read a story such as this one. The whole asepct seemed so real to me. Like most Dark Fantasy or UF books out there you always just believe the story...believe where the narrator is taking you. But this felt so real to me and many times I questioned....is Perry really seeing this?? Is she crazy? That being said I just found a new series to obsess over. Perry is complicated and kicks total ass. She also has great taste in music! And then there's Dex...he has this crazy, wonky, Jonny Depp/Robert Downey Jr thing going on. Very ecentric in a very sexy way. I swear fans of Dark Fantasy will love this series and the sexual tension between Dex and Perry is smokin'. Please guys...read this damn book! You won't be sorry!

Christmas is over. Santa has left the building. We now have 2012 to look forward to! What new release are you looking forward to in the new year? 

This year Im looking forward to is definitely Darkest Seduction by Gena Showalter! Its seems like Iv been waiting forEVA for Paris's book and Im just super excited that this is the year for its release!! And also Sacrificial Magic by Stacia Kane...LUV me some Terrible and Chess!!
