What book would you recommend to to heat up your summer!

I recently picked up Molly Harpers' How To Flirt With A Naked Werewolf and I loved, loved it! It's the perfect combination of sexy and fun. It reminded me of one of my favorite old T.V. shows, Northern Exposure, but with a paranormal twist. Perfect for a good beach read!

Northern Exposure Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham—who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska—has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble. For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question. If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? If you could read one book again for the first time,
which one would you pick and why?

Okay, this may rub some people the wrong way but I gotta be honest.

I would pick Twilight!

I was in a phase in my life where I had not read a book in over a year. ( I know, it was awful). I could not get into any book I bought and I had begun to think that my reading life was over. I had never read Paranormal, UF, Dystopian or anything other than your standard romance, mystery or thriller. I saw a display at Barnes and Noble for Breaking Dawn  (which was releasing in 3 weeks), and I thought I would give this new genre a try, to try and spark something...anything that would bring back my life-long love of books. Fast forward one week and I had devoured the first three books and my passion for reading was re-awakened. I was beyond happy and started to read all these genres that I had never read before and I can say that it truly brought back a joy to my life that I thought was gone forever. I'm not sure if any other book would have done the same but Twilight was the right fit at the right time and my memory of that first read will always hold a special place in my heart.

 Thats a great answer Heather....I would love to read Twilight for the first time! Get that feeling back. But I would have to choose Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost! I remember seeing that book at Borders(when it was still around) thinking...hmmm that looks pretty interesting! I hadn't read in a LONG time. I used to read regularly in the beginning of High School but after like sophomore year I was too busy partying. Actually...Harry Potter was the first series I picked up in years, then Twilight! Thats a big assed gap(since Im 30)! But reading Halfway to the Grave is what sealed the deal for me as far as Paranormal Romance! It was sexy and funny and I just adored me some Bones! So...yea! Reading that book for the first time would be awesome! And of course Dark Hunter series...I know after I first read Fantasy Lover I zoomed through that series like the plague!

First of all, any reference to Ryan Seacrest and anything sexual grosses me out to no end. Sooooo, after having a silkwood shower, I would probably give him Dreamfever by KMM and tell him that calling me Rainbow Girl  would be in his best interest. Also, the following outfit wouldn't hurt:

VanesMate's answer: Hmmm I would go with Succubi are Forever by Jill Myles...Zane is such a fine specimen...so Alpha Male! Having an orgasm just from a bite is a recipe for fan-fucking-tastic good time....

Im one of those girls that has her crap load of shit in her purse....Keys, perfume, makeup(about 5 or 6 shades of lipgloss), book(Gentlemen Prefer Succubi), kindle, big ass wallet, cigarettes(ya I know...dont judge me), lighters, phone, pens, receipts at the bottom, the list goes on and on! Sometimes I gotta dig for shit...thems the breaks I guess!

Who is your favorite flawed hero and/or heroine and why do you still love them despite their faults?

HeatherJay's answer:
I didn't even have to think on this one. Easily, my favorite flawed character male or female is Cesaria Putnam from the Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane. Before I started reading this series I always loved my heroines to be strong, funny, self-effacing and generally having their shit together. I've spent enough of my life around dysfunctional women so I definately did not want the women in my books to have ridiculous issues that any relatively stable adult should have a handle on. When I read the first book of this series I was incredibly annoyed by Chess for being a drug-addicted weakling who forced those around her to deal with whatever fucked up issue du jour she was dealing with. Slowly, she grew on me and after realizing what she had been through in her life I said "Whatever you need to do to get you through the day, Sweetheart, have at it". I eventually came to know her as a strong, loyal, generous, intelligent woman who happens to have a relatively strong case of self-hatred going on....Also, she's a hardcore drug addict. Regardless of the flaws, her positives strongly outweigh the negatives and she's got a Bettie Page haircut w/tattoos so she f-ing rocks!

There are a lot of flawed characters that I love no matter what! I think thats what draws you to them in the first place. Their faults and all....who doesnt love a project riight??That being said.... I would have to go with Vishous from BDB. He's depraved and he's a complete ass whole some times and an insufferable no-it-all, but he's sexy as hell....just utterly Delicious, intelligent and loyal to a fault! So...yea, I pick him! Control freak with a room full of toys...Yes Please;)

"Which paranormal creature do you wish would "come out of the closet" and reveal themselves to the real world?"

A few years ago I probably woulda picked vampires, but now that Iv read more shifter books I would definitely go with shifters. The males are so much more alpha and sexy as hell! Who wouldnt want to hear they man growl at them when they're angry? It would be a complete turn on! Id find myself pissing him off on purpose just to hear it and make him wanna flip me over anywhere just to shut me up...LOL! 


I also,I think the world would be more surprised to find out about shapeshifters than vampires!
