Ellie is a vampire and general of the vampire queens army. Because of a prophecy regarding the Demons from Hell breaking free and reeking havoc on mankind, the Vampire Queen gives Ellie the task of bringing Vampires out in the open. That way ensuring their cooperation in the up coming battle. Vampires gotta eat something right??:)

Because of all the vampire myths and technology in the modern world...not a lot of humans are buying the fact that vampires are real. So the government appoints a scientist to run test on Ellie to make sure her claims are true. The scientist,Raphael, is sent to Ellie's home to study her and he's incredibly hot but for some reason is trying to suppress his true feelings for Ellie. Of course she see's this as a challenge and tries her damdest to seduce the stick-up-his-ass Dr.

I loved everything about this story. Ellie was awesome...the daemons were evil and disgusting and Raphael was delicious!! I can't wait til the next one....I swear I was screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" at the end..LOVED IT!! I can definitely see this series as being one of my favs right up there with "Princess of Hell"!!

This sequel starts where its predecessor, Danann Frost Falls from Grace, left off....with Danann falling from grace Again to be with Seth and its not all good and gravy for them. She finds out that time has passed a heck of a lot longer than she expected and her King is not there to greet her. Unfortunately she gets whisked away by Seths archenemy Eamon. Now that Seth knows she's back he will do anything to rescue her from the "evil" Eamon.

There were a bunch of things that I loved in this story and that was Eamon. I loved that he wasn't as evil as I initially thought! He was a great friend to Danann. I hope he can find the one for him! Seth was his usual caveman self in this one. He really took it to new heights when he "rescued" Danann from Eamon. And Seth's evil ass family...So glad they got what was coming to them. I also LOVED Joanne Vailukas' depiction of Lucifer in this. He wasn't the devil but a fallen angel that couldnt return home and was an evil bastard...especially what he did to Danann!



The funny thing is that it never dawned on me that Danann should turn into a Vampire. The solution was always right in my face but it never occured to me. I liked that...it was a great surprise.

All in all, the conclusion to Seth and Danann's story left me well satisfied and enjoyed it very much. Glad they finally got their shit together;)

Ok....so Julia's an engineer on her way to New Orleans for a comference. She's not really happy with her love life. She's always been with men that are great on paper but too dull for her tastes. Now she's determined to let her hair down and be more spontaneous. One night she stumbles into La Luxure a goth club thats looks like just what she needs. When she meets Armand she decides that he's the perfect candidate for a NOLA affair. But after spending time with him she starts falling for him and he with her. I don't want to give anything away since there's a big bomb dropped at the end. But I will say that this was definitely unlike any vampire/paranormal book Iv read and what a breath of fresh air it was. I thought it was a great love story and I would definitely read more books in this world C.D. Hussey has created...awesome story!!!

One night she runs into Simon, a sexy enigma that saves her from a band of vamps out to kidnap her. Once she wakes up in his apartment she also meets his hot roommate Gene...a real life Genie! The two best friends are determined to protect her at all costs and claim her as their woman.

I absolutely loved this story! It was funny and sexy and I enjoyed every minute of it! I thought Simon, Gene and Beth made an awesome Triad! Simon was more on the laid back side while Gene never held anything back! I loved Beth's character as well...she's always down for whatever!

All my soul searching and disturbing conclusions still led back to one key point. I was given a second chance at life, and mutant hybrid or not, possible means to the end of the world or not, I’d live life to the fullest and worry about the consequences later. And that motto meant grabbing the boys by their horns—with a firm grasp—and taking what they offered—naked and enthusiastically.

Tehee...I love it! I always enjoy an Eve Langlais story!! Her heroines are always so witty and funny its awesome!!

What a shitty day...week for that matter!

Iv gotta vent today!!! This may take a while so bear with me;)

Tuesday...I took my car to get an oilchange! The next morning when I woke up(wednesday) My tire was flat! I was pissed to say the least! I called Jiffylube to tell them off they couldnt do shit! Luckily I had another car to use so I my hubby could get to work...riiiiight! So anyhoo...my jack broke and I didnt have money for a new one at the time so I waited on my Stepdad to get off work so he can change my flat! Which wasnt til Saturday!

In case you're wondering...I live in an apartment complex...not a house! We dont have assigned parking..its first come first serve. So.....Thursday I recieve a sticker on my car that it will be towed because it was on a flat! Does that make sense???Not to ME!!!! So...Im fuming as you could guess..riiiight?!! I call my leasing office/customer service and they tell me that I have to move it asap and will give me two days! This was at like 3pm on Thursday!

Friday....at 9pm I hear a tow truck outside and I stop him from towing my car. He said that managment called them to tow my car!! See a problem yet???

He doesn't tow my car! And Im like Thank God!! I cant afford it! You know how much tows are?? This morning I had I screaming migrane so bad that at 5am I got to walgreens to get some excedrine!! Guess what I find?? Not my fucking car thats what!!! I had to wait til 10am for the customer service to open so that I can cuss them the FUCK out and all I get is a phone number and name to the tow company!!

So I went up there and got a copy of my lease and found nothing in there stating they had the right to tow my car...especially since it was parked legally and only on a flat...at which i was trying to fix!!

$200 later and 5 hours and one pissed off chic and Im finally home with my car and I dont know what to do! I want my fucking money back....I really need to find out what steps to take to fight this..this is bullshit!! Iv been living here for 5 years! My car was on a flat for 3 days and they towed it away like it was nothing!! They dont give a shit!! I just dont understand why they would do this to me!!

Its cars in this complex that havent run in months and theirs still remain and mine is gone after 3 days! 

URGHHH!! I just wanna hurt someone!! 

But never fear!! Will be in the mood to read sooner or later!! Damn bastards fucking up my weekend...anyhoo!! 

After listening to one of my favorite bands Cage the Elephant....I totally felt better!! The video is hilarious and everytime they say "Ooh ooh ooh ooh 

Ahh ahh ahh ahh Ooh ooh ooh ooh Ahh ahh ahh ahh" I felt better!! I know the song has nothing to do with my issue but it made me feel better and thats awesome! So Ill share it with yal!! So here's "Around My Head" by Cage the Elephant!!

My teaser if from Danann Frost Embraces the Darkness by Joanne Valiukas....its the 2nd book of the series. The 1st one is called Danann Frost Falls from Grace...its an epic love story about an ancient Vampire falling in love with an Angel and I fell in love with it right away! Danann Frost Embraces the Darkness is the continuation for Danann and Prince Seth's story.

Over the weekend(and now actually) I was reading a quote from the Fever series...and just had to do a quick re-read of my fav series of all time!!!

Well I came across an interesting book at Walmart over the weekend and can't wait to get started....

The cover sure got my attention and me being the bookaholic that I am I couldnt resisst...and it was like 6 bucks(thanks wallyworld!) So I'll keep ya posted;)

I also have intention of finally get started on The Disillusionist Trilogy

I hear its a great series to get sucked in to so Im pretty excited about it;)

Devlyn a gray lupus garou saved Bella a red lupus garou from a wildfire that claimed the life of her entire family. Devlyn's pack takes Bella in and treats her like their own. The leader of the pack Volan wants Bella as his mate and Bella hates his guts. She also is in love with Devlyn and wants to mate with him. One day she decides she no longer wants to deal with Volan's aggressive advances at her and decides to run away from the pack. One-hundred and fifty years later and Bella's still on the run and is still in love with Devlyn. One day she goes out on a run in her red lupus garou form and gets tranqued by a hunter and gets put into a zoo. The hunter thinks Bella is a wild red wolf and wants to bring her to the zoo to mate with another red wolf that lives there..lol! Unfortunately, Volan finds out that she's in the zoo and sends Devlyn to retrieve her. When Devlyn see's Bella he decides right then and there that he's been an idiot for not running away with her and is determined to mate with her!

Of course Bella is in love with him and wants to mate with Devlyn but she knows in doing so...will bring Volans wrath and she doesn't think Devlyn can beat him. Devlyn knows that he can beat him and take over the pack and tries to get Bella to see reason and return to the pack so he can fight Volan to the death once and for all and be together forever.

On top of all of that there's a pack of red lupus garou in the area and one of them is murdering red-headed human females and trying to change them so that they can mate. Soon as they find out about Bella the leader of said pack thinks he has a claim on her since Devlyn and Bella are in their territory. So not only do they have Volan to deal with they also have; a nosy ass neighbor, a zoo keeper looking for a missing red wolf and a pack of horny red lupus garou hot on their trail!

What I loved the most about this werewolf tale was the fact that even though Bella wanted to be mated to Devlyn and vice versa they loved each other for them. Not because they were destined to be together. It was quite refreshing!! Usually in these werewolf tales or any other story about a couple being mated...the urge to mate came first. It was great to see a couple being in love with each other and willing to fight to the death for some one because they were in love...not destined to be mated!! I really enjoyed this story and the sex was super hot and I would definitely read another book buy this author;)
